Booval Fair is pleased to partner with the team at Y2Tribe every second Friday morning between 10am and 12pm with the Community Connector program.
Y2Tribe’s Community Connectors are right here in the food court each fortnight, and they’re here to chat! No bookings needed – just head to the food court and say ‘g’day!’
Why Community Connectors?
According to various studies by the CDC, WHO and Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, isolation and loneliness can impact mental health (depression, anxiety, stress), physical health (heart disease, weaker immunity, poor sleep), and behaviour (withdrawal, unhealthy coping).
To help tackle that, Y2Tribe’s Community Connectors visit each fortnight to meet the locals, create meaningful relationships and lend an ear to those who need it, provide direction to helpful local resources and support services, and create a sense of community and engagement.
